Tuesday, no luck !

Hi everybody !

I have decided to jump from last monday (may 4) to To(ues)day (may 12), because I'm a lazy guy.

So let's go for the story of my unlucky day. 

5:00 pm : Back @t home, I turn on my screens and I run MT4 like everyday of the week. No signal. I have no choice, I have to wait.

Later, I see on 15 and 30 min charts, that EUR/JPY and GBP/JPY have finished their consolidation. I think that it's a good idea to open a short trade.

6:13 pm : I'm short on EUR/JPY. Target at 60 pips.

6:20 pm : I'm short too on GBP/JPY. 

6:30 pm : After 10 minutes of thinking, I have decided to short GBP/USD too. I can earn more but I can lose more with the correlation between GBP/JPY and GBP/USD. But I want more profit, so I short.

6:49 pm : GBP/USD and GBP/JPY stops are touched. There was a big rebounce unfortunately, and in my opinion, that's a reaction of the speech of Obama diffused on bloomberg at same time.

Result : - 60 pips or -61.09€

I'm unlucky because 5 minutes later, GBP/JPY fall again...

6:55 pm : I'm short on GBP/JPY. TP 30 pips.

6:58 pm : EUR/JPY and GBP/JPY reached their target !

Result : +88 pips or +61.17€

I'm pretty satisfied of my trading day except when I have shorted GBP/USD.

Hi everybody !

Today I havn't had a lot of time for trade. However I have taken a position. But I have closed my trade when the price has stop to move. 

But don't worry, there is a lack of liquidity. (Non-working day in Japan and England.)

Hello ! 

May 1, non-working day for France and many countries. So with this free time, I decided to gardening !

This is a joke ! How can I gardening when forex call me ? That's impossible ! But maybe I should have...

So I begin my day with my alarm which ring at 6:30 am ! I've forgotten to stop it... But fortunately, I sleep two minutes later.

I wake up at 8:30 am, I turn on my computer like everyday and I run MT4. At first sight, the market seems really flat, but it's normal for May1.

During the day I have taken few positions, but without real signal. So I lost few bucks...

I close this week with a negatif result. That's not really surprising, because I have traded without discipline from wednesday until today...

Result of the week : -87.88€ so -4.39%

Good evening.

Today was a really bad day. I made some newbie mistakes, and I didn't respect any rules. 

I have continued to trade with several orders in the same time while I've already lost more than 4% of my asset.

I didn't wait any signal to take a position and I've traded whereas I knew that I had no time...

Mauvais Mercredi, mais finalement pas tant que ça !

Hi ! 

Since a long time, wednesday is a bad day for me. The only day where I can trade almost all the daytime, it ends mostly by a loss... So I took the decision to change this !

This is my day story :

10:30 am : I'm back @t home. I turn on my screens and I run MT4. I'm ready to "trade forex like a pro" (FxPro Advertisement seen on Bloomberg TV).

Forex is rather flat, I have forgotten but today it's a non-working day in Japan. They are in Golden Week. But no stress, there are some news at 2:30 pm

2:30 pm : I take a short position on GBP/USD, but few minutes later I'm not confident and I decide to get out of my position. Result : 0 pips, it's a neutral trade.

2:45 pm : I open a short position on GBP/JPY, I put a tightened stop loss. More tightened than I used to set. The stop is reaches 20 minutes later.

In the same time I re-short GBP/USD. And when the stop was touched on GBP/JPY, I have decided to move down my TP in order to recover my loss. Very Good Idea Madjes ! The cross rebounce on a support, I'm afraid and I leave my position.

Results of these 2 trades : -26.5 pips or -27.14€ !

Mood : Angry !

After this 2 stupids trades, I decide to calm down and to listen nice music : America - Ventura Highway.

5:00 pm : I'm calm. In trading regrets are useless, so I have learned my lesson and I continue to trade.

5:15 pm : GBP/USD breaks its trendline and I open a long trade without hesitance. I set my stop loss and my TP at 30 pips. 

5:20 pm : EUR/USD follow GBP/USD. I'm long. TP and stop loss at 20 pips.

Few minutes later, my target is reached on EUR/USD, but GBP/USD is turned over and I decide to leave for security with + 20 pips.

Results of 2 trades : +40.1 pips or +40.10€

Wednesday doesn't will be my bad day anymore ! 

Result of the day : +13.6 pips or+12.96€

Hello !

It was a good day, but it could have been better ! Indeed, once more I was too impatient, but unlike yesterday I don't forgive myself.

Here is my day :

4:30 pm : I'm back @t home.

First order, 5:07 pm. Second order, 5:10 pm.

I see a sell signal on GBP/USD, I'm waiting for confirmation while keeping an eye on GBP/JPY. The cable falls and I open a short trade, GBP/JPY is maintained on its levels but the signal of sale is already given and I count on the correlation of these crosses. I'm shorting GBP/JPY.

GBP/USD reaches my target, but GBP/JPY rebounds on it support just before the TP. I'm afraid, I close my position. A few minutes later, the fall continues...

6:01 pm : All the orders are closed. + 50.4 pips = +51.13€

Once more, I'm not proud of my attitude. I lack of discipline.

First Day !

Good evening ! Here are the results of the first test day. But before, few precisions about my trading day :

- I have traded only after school, about 7:00 pm

- Trichet had already begun to talk when I arrived @t home

- Like all Monday, I'm tired (ok it's easy, but it's true !)

7:05 pm : I see a signal on GBP/USD, I short without any hesitance. I put my stop loss above the last top in 5 min charts and I set my target.

7:10 pm : EUR/USD and EUR/JPY are already falling. Too bad, it's too late ! 

50 minutes later I decide to take my profit. I'm too impatient and the currency continue to fall until my take profit a few minutes later. So I only earn 30 pips instead of the 50 expected.

I'm not proud ofmy attitude but it's monday and I forgive myself.

Who I am ?

Hello everybody, I'm a young trader under 20 years old who trades since about one year.

I first tried the stock market during few months but I didn't like it pretty much. Not enough active for me. Forex, this is what I mean by saying "active"! Always open, excepted during week-ends but who cares ? Week-end is time for rest, friends or family.

So, I began trading without any knowledge, but someday a trader named Darthtrader organized few webinars with his friend Sylvain. I learned the basis of trading, and much more like money management. I really thank them for their generosity.

With their strategy I made some pips everyday during some months. But when summer arrived, the market calmed down. I could not succeed in making profits anymore. I lost a few bucks, but not too many !

Since this, I've been looking for a really efficient strategy, and I have tried a lot of differents things but I have not find yet the best one.

Also, I have read few books, like Market Wizards, Street Smarts, Secrets for Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets, etc... I'm certainly a lucky guy because all of these books are excellent and I have learned a lot with each one.

Two weeks ago, I build a new strategy. This one looks really good and I think, it's probably the best that I have ever made. So I decided to create this blog in order to share each day the results with  you.

I hope to get some good results and few readers.
